Cynthia began (self-taught) cake decorating in 1983; moved onto more advanced work in 1990 by graduating from the Wilton School of cake decorating in Chicago with a Masters Certificate in cake decorating, gumpaste, and pulled sugar under Sandy Folsom, Susan Matusiak, & Wesley Wilton. She also completed "Beyond Masters" in October 2000 at the same school with Colette Peters of New York City. To better understand fresh flower arrangements, Cynthia graduated from the prestigious Shelton-White School of Floral Design in Memphis, Tenn. in 1999 under instructors, Frankie Shelton and Sandy White. Cynthia specializes in unique and recreated cake art using American and foreign methods of decorating. Her motto: "If there is a will, there is a way!"

Welcome to Cynthia's Cakes LLC. I started decorating cakes in 1983 with $5 in my pocket.
Initally self-taught but increased knowledge by graduating from the Wilton School of Cake Decorating in Chicago. We have created many fabulous custom designed wedding cakes since then! Customers from all walks of life have entered my shop from all across Texas and the USA and even as far away as Sweden, Russia, England, Phillipines, Ireland, Mexico, etc. etc.
