June 21, 2008 Vintage Villas-Austin, Tx. An extraordinarily fabulous wedding cake created for Lauren and Stephen's wedding. Detailing from Lauren's dress was transferred in sugar onto the cake. Hundreds of sugar flowers accented with crystal cake jewelry draped down the cake front and back. Tiny lights flickered around the flowers setting a very romantic mood throughout the reception. A true masterpiece created for such a loving couple!
May 31, 2008 Pharr Convention Center-Pharr, Tx. This gorgeous cake stands a towering 6 feet and shows off hundreds of fresh flowers in Brenda's chosen colors of fushia hot pink. Various shades of roses, peonies, lilies and filler flowers encircle each tier. Pearl draping swooshed across the top 5 tiers front and back. Jet black sugar bows and ribbon accented the alternating tiers along with dangling crystals. Truly a cake to remember!

June 16, 2007 Quinta Matzatlan-McAllen, Tx. This untraditional style wedding cake was created for Jessica Dickerson and Beau Roy's wedding. Jessica designed and chose the colors for this fabulous cake. Hundreds of tiny handmade sugar flowers accented the entire cake in her chosen colors.
September 20, 2008 Mario's Banquet Center-Mission, Tx. This intricate detailed wedding cake was created for Vanessa Rubio and Jeremy Reyes. Vanessa fell in love with the design from the table toppers so we recreated the design on the 5 tiers and handpainted them to match.
December 27, 2008 - The Walden Yacht Club-Montgomery, Tx. This gorgeous 5 tiered wedding cake was decorated to match the ambiance of a Christmas time wedding for Molly McCabe and Aubrey Laqua. Fresh hydrangea, lilies, roses and crystal cake jewelry accented the entire cake. Footnote: Aubrey's mother, Sharon Laqua and Cynthia have been best friends since high school.

Edinburg Small Business selected for Dell Small Business recognition at NYC Times Square
Cynthia's Cakes of Edinburg received notification from Dell Computers that it had been selected for its "We Believe: In Small Business" project recognition at Times Square on July 9 and 10th. Owner Cynthia Ebrom, was speechless when she learned of her speciality cake shops selection. Cynthia's Cakes has received numerous awards and recognition as one of the top speciality custom cake shops in the nation but nothing quite compares to having your business name appear on the world famous Times Square video monitor in New York City.
Cynthia's Cakes was one of over 100 businesses selected in a nationwide contest conducted by Dell Computers. The selected companies all received an ad featured on Times Square over a 2 day period Monday, July 9th and Tuesday the 10th.
