2002 I.C.E.S. Convention - Nashville,
Tennessee
This years cake was inspired by an 1887 Victorian
wedding gown and an original Gregorian dresser. It is a 200 piece
elaborately decorated masterpiece detailed with lots of gumpaste drapes and

Maze of
Leaves
Inspired by a Turkish towel, this design shows how everyday
objects can spark the imagination. With the use of various techniques from royal
icing leaf flowers to gumpaste draping and even a finishing touch of royal
icing "fuzz," this is truly a cake of "Texas" proportions.
Blue Millennium
This wedding cake is an original design by John, and was
created with such stunning techniques as smocking, rolled fondant, gumpaste
draping, pearl painting, and royal icing petunias. The cake is crested by a new
millennium bridal couple hand painted to match the accenting pearl dust.
El Charro
A sombrero hanging in a favorite Mexican restaraunt "El
Patio' inspired this cake designed by Jorge. Fondant and gold embroidery
decorate this edible sombrero. Olé!
